Hi there, wanting to build a website of my own, I can design and write basic html/css but nothing too fancy, basicly I need a good web hosting company with reliable service as well as value for money, I would like to be able to build a few websites based on this plan, maybe 2-3 for now but might expand in the future, I saw some web hosting company such as http://www.justhost.com/ which offers $4/month plan with unlimited everything? I know next to nothing about web hosting companies so any suggestions will be great.

Your question is somewhat conflicting with the description you gave. Are you in the need of both the web designing and web hosting company?
There is no need to circumscribe you in NZ. Web Hosting and designing can done from a company anywhere in the world. There needs to be some consideration that should be taken care of while selecting a web designing and hosting company.

Firstly, web design should be compliant with some standards that should be met while designing the website.
