Microsoft runs IIS as it’s web server. Since it’s windows-based it’s not friendly with PHP, which is what Joomla is.
Dump Microsoft and find a web host that uses Apache for it’s web server… and don’t choose Yahoo small business.
As MSN is probably windows based you may have some problems, on the other hand if it does accept PHP and MySQL you should have no problem. You will need 1 MySQL database free to install the Joomla CMS on your web hosting. But like I said I would think windows hosting is probably asp rather than php but someone may prove me wrong.
