What’s The Best Web Host To Use To Publish A Basic Site I Made For My Design Portfolio?

I created a site (no html or flash or anything, just something i made in illustrator/photoshop and placed into dreamweaver) and need a web hosting site. I have found many really good hosting sites, but I don’t need shopping carts or multiple e-mail accounts. I will go with these hosts if they really are the best, but I’m wondering if there’s anything out there for smaller sites. I want to pay $5 or less a month, but I don’t want a free host.
